The Useless Eaters

Formed in the summer of 1995, the Useless Eaters are a guitar/ bass/ drum/ vocal combo based out of their hometown of Oakville, Ontario, Canada.
The band is something of a punk rock supergroup and includes members of the original hardcore punk bands C.R.A, Scarred and Zeroption.

"There has never been a "good old days" for the music that we play. People hated us then just as much as they hate us now. I guess we're lucky that the feeling is mutual." comments Kealan, drummer.

Their first studio recording is an adaptation of the 1931 Dubin/Warren classic "You Let Me Down".

"All music should be made available for free to anyone interested in taking the time to download," states Chris (guitarist). " I believe that this would allow for a new realm of public domain that would revitalize popular music and invigorate compositional sourcing."

You Let Me Down

You told me that I was like an angel
Told me I was fit to wear a crown
So that you could get a thrill,
You put me on a pedastal
and then you let me down
let me down
You told me that I'd be wearing diamonds
I would have the smartest car in town
Made me think that I'm the top
and then you let the ladder drop
You know you let me down
let me down
I walked upon a rainbow
I clung onto a star
You had me up in heaven
Thats why I had to fall so far
I was even looking for a cottage
I was measured for a wedding gown
Thats how I got cynical,
you put me on a pinnacle
and then you let me down
